Boundary and sources
This strip orders work by the dates you supply; it does not read your manuscript, judge a reviewer's point, or know the journal's real deadline. Extension decisions belong to the editor, and a missed internal date is not a missed journal date. Confirm the window in the decision letter before you plan around it.
- Dates and windows are the reader's own; no journal policy is asserted.
- Where a comment carries no date, the strip uses the decision date and says so on the row.
- Day counts are plain calendar arithmetic; extensions granted by an editor are not modelled.
