How to work the service cost card
Enter the annual figure including tax and any platform fee, and the seats you are really using. A 20-seat design suite with only 1800 units of annual cost is 7.5 per seat per month.
Annual cost divided by twelve gives a monthly line; dividing by active seats gives the comparable figure. The design suite exceeds the six-unit allowance in the sample, and the storage plan does not.
Any service above your per-seat allowance is flagged for a renewal review. That flag is a prompt to renegotiate, downgrade or cancel, not proof that the tool is bad value.
Seat counts change with joiners and leavers, so re-run the check a month before renewal. Confirm contract terms and notice periods with the vendor before changing anything.
