Break a Dense Process Into One-Action Cards — Free

Write each step as its own one-action card and the board marks the ones that cannot be done alone, so a dense process becomes a set of cards you can do in any order that suits you.

What this replaces

Dense instructions bury three actions in one sentence and expect the reader to hold them in order. This checks whether each card stands alone, so the steps that genuinely must wait are the only ones marked as waiting.

Tool note. This runs entirely in your browser — no account, no upload, no paid API key. Google NotebookLM is named as the free source-grounded reading path for the material you paste; its published free-tier terms were checked on 2026-09-13 and can change.

The four passes

01

Collect the smallest useful input

One action per line, written as a single thing to do.

02

Let the board check each card

Dependency words mark a card as needing an earlier one.

03

Do the standalone cards first

Those can happen whenever suits you, in any order.

04

Sequence the rest

Only the marked cards have to happen in order.

Try it on the action cards / process 5

The board below runs in your browser. It opens with a worked sample so the result is visible before you paste anything; switch scenarios, edit the text, or reset to the sample.

first-load · sample values are illustrative, not verified facts

Everything you paste stays in this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and no request leaves the page to generate the result; clearing site data removes anything saved locally.

What breaks, and what to do

Two actions on one card

Only the first is checked; split them.

Dependencies left implicit

Only the words you wrote are matched; make them explicit.

Processes owned by an organisation

Some cards need a reply from someone else; nothing here can speed that up.

The free board above is the whole loop. The paid tier keeps the arranged output so you do not rebuild it.
