How to work the floor pair plan
Exclude the stage, the bar queue, tables, pillars and the fire lanes you must keep clear. The usable figure is usually much smaller than the room’s total area.
The illustrative two square metres per pair is a planning assumption for this check, not a standard. Faster or livelier dancing may need more room, so agree the figure with the venue or caller.
