Sort Your Wrong Answers Into the Mistake That Caused Them — Free

List each wrong answer and why it was wrong; the card sorts them into mistake types with counts, so the one thing costing you the most marks is a number rather than a feeling.

What this replaces

Redoing every wrong answer treats them as equal. This sorts them by the mistake that caused them, so five answers lost to one dropped sign become one thing to fix rather than five more attempts.

Tool note. This runs entirely in your browser — no account, no upload, no paid API key. Google NotebookLM is named as the free source-grounded reading path for the material you paste; its published free-tier terms were checked on 2026-09-13 and can change.

The four passes

01

Collect the smallest useful input

One wrong answer per line, with the reason it was wrong.

02

Let the card sort them

Each line is matched to a mistake lane and counted.

03

Fix the top lane first

The commonest mistake is worth more marks than the hardest question.

04

Rerun after the next set

A lane that does not shrink means the fix did not land.

The board below runs in your browser. It opens with a worked sample so the result is visible before you paste anything; switch scenarios, edit the text, or reset to the sample.

Everything you paste stays in this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and no request leaves the page to generate the result; clearing site data removes anything saved locally.

What breaks, and what to do

Reason not stated

The line lands in the last lane; write why it was wrong.

Two mistakes on one answer

The first match wins; split them if both matter.

Mistake types outside the five lanes

Rename the lanes in a copy to match your subject.

Go deeper — Error Card

The free board above is the whole loop. The paid tier keeps the arranged output so you do not rebuild it.

  • Printable card with each lane boxed for the next problem set — estimate: 11 minutes saved per set, basis: 5 mistakes re-tallied at ~2.2 minutes each
  • Saved local history across sets — estimate: 8 minutes saved per set, basis: re-entering 5 mistakes at ~95 seconds each
