Fit a Physio Home Program Into the Minutes You Actually Have — Free

Home programs are written for an ideal half hour. Ten minutes between two other commitments means something has to be trimmed, and the thing trimmed is always the same exercise — usually the one that matters for the next stage of recovery.

The proof surface

Free path: the tool computes locally in this browser with no key and no account. Where an AI step helps, any free chat assistant works — free tiers exist (Google AI Studio, Groq), but plans and limits change, so check the provider's own page. No third-party service is claimed here as verified: UNCONFIRMED — model has no browsing access this session.

Why the flat version breaks

A printed program has no clock. It cannot tell you that the whole set fits if each block loses four minutes, so it gets abandoned on busy days and overrun on free ones. Scaling every block proportionally keeps the program intact and makes the short session a real session.

How to use the physio session receipt in four passes

Enter the program as your clinician wrote it

Minutes per block as prescribed, one exercise per line, with the target in the third column. That target is what stops the short sessions from becoming a random selection of the easiest exercises.

Enter the minutes you have today, not the minutes you would like

The receipt scales every block proportionally. If the day genuinely only has ten minutes, the program is trimmed to ten minutes and every exercise still appears.

Run it and read the start time of each block

Each line shows when the block starts relative to the beginning of the session. That is what makes a short session runnable without watching a clock between exercises.

Keep the receipts for the week

Completed sessions and the minutes per block are the record a clinician uses to decide whether to progress the program. Two honest ten-minute sessions are more useful than one claimed half hour.

SAMPLE DATA, NOT A VERIFIED CLAIM: the starter record is an ankle rehab stage-two program with five blocks and a twelve-minute budget that trims rather than cuts. Replace these values with your own source before you rely on anything.

What breaks first

Doing the exercises that are easiest on a busy day

Dropping the same block every time quietly changes the program. Scaling keeps every block in, which is why the short session is worth doing at all.

Pushing past pain to hit the printed minutes

The receipt scales time, it does not judge symptoms. Stop a block if it hurts and tell the clinician what happened; a program that flares the injury costs more weeks than it saves.

Reading the receipt as a progress measure

Minutes completed is an adherence record, not a recovery measure. Progression is decided on how the joint behaves, which the clinician assesses — bring the receipts to the appointment, not your own conclusion.

Boundary: This schedules exercises you were already prescribed; it is not physiotherapy advice, it does not judge whether a movement is safe, and it cannot progress or regress a program. Stop any block that causes pain and follow your clinician's instructions over anything printed here.
