The scorer works on words, not formatting — copy the text out of your PDF. Section headers, bullets, whatever's there: the tokens are what count.

Up to three roles. The scorer extracts each posting's key terms — the repeated nouns and skills — and checks them against your resume, so the comparison is per-role, not one blob.
Read the score as distance, not worth
A high overlap means your resume already speaks the posting's language; a low one means you'd be fighting the filter. The score is about fit-to-posting, never a verdict on you.
Close the gap by adding the missing words honestly
For the role you want most, add the missing keywords where they're true. Don't stuff words you can't back up — the interview finds those. The scorecard shows what to say, not what to fake.

What breaks this
Pasting a screenshot of the posting gives the scorer nothing — text only. Scoring a resume full of job titles but no skills yields a low number that's really a 'vague resume' reading, not a bad fit. Stuffing every missing word turns the score into a lie you'll have to defend — add the true ones, ignore the rest.
