Budget Sensory Load Across a Day's Agenda — Free
Paste the day's agenda with how demanding each block is, and read where the load stacks up before you commit to attending.
The proof surface
Agendas are designed around content, not around the people carrying it. Plotting your own ratings shows which blocks to skip, which is a far better plan than leaving at lunchtime.
Why the flat version breaks
Planning by interest alone
The most interesting sessions are often the largest rooms, and the load of a hall is not visible in the programme.
Back-to-back blocks
Consecutive high-load blocks with no gap produce the overload, not the individual sessions.
Leaving without a plan
Walking out at midday usually wastes the registration fee, while skipping one named block keeps the rest of the day available.
How to work the load chart
One block per line with minutes and your own 1–5 load rating.
Your normal daily load and the gap you need between blocks.
Bars show block load, the budget is ruled across, and hot bars mark blocks over your ceiling.
Choose the arrival block, the block to skip and the exit point, then tell whoever you are attending with.
What the chart replaces
| Question | Before | On the chart |
|---|---|---|
| Can I do the whole day | find out at 2pm | total load against your budget |
| Which block to skip | leave early instead | the highest bar, named |
| What to ask the organiser | 'is there a quiet room?' | the specific gap your plan needs |
Load ratings are yours; the chart adds them up and never labels a block objectively difficult.

FIRST-LOAD
Data note: Everything runs in this browser tab on the load chart: your agenda and load notes stays on this device, nothing is uploaded, and the reading is rebuilt only when you press run.
Go deeper: the companion app files the same reading as a plotted bar chart sheet
The article demo above runs without limits. The companion app keeps a local history, exports the rows as CSV, prints the ready-to-mail packet, and holds your drafts on this device — one free run, then $ 6 one-time for the layer that keeps filing.
The chart and the peak block are free. The paid layer prints the attendance plan and keeps the load record for the next event.

This load chart works only on the agenda blocks and load ratings you paste you paste. It does not assess your condition, does not give clinical advice, and does not book assistance at the venue. The figures describe what you supplied, not what is true in the world. Confirm anything you plan to act on with an occupational therapist or access adviser for recurring overload before you rely on it.
What this is built on
- Every figure comes from the agenda blocks and load ratings you paste you paste; nothing is looked up, scraped or asserted as verified.
- Method: total load = sum of block ratings; the chart plots ratings against your stated budget with breaks as gaps
- Sample values are labelled samples — illustrative by design, not your data and not a quotation of any organisation's policy.
Before: the reader planned to attend the whole day. After: they can see three consecutive high-load blocks with no break and a peak after lunch.
