Tally Cumulative Stay Days Against Your Entry Allowance — Free
Several short visits can quietly add up to a long stay. Count inclusive days visit by visit on one day-number line, and see the exact visit where a cumulative allowance is exceeded.
The proof surface
Document checkers compare expiry dates. This counts the days you actually spend inside a period against an allowance you read from your own entry conditions; it does not interpret any rule.
Why the flat version breaks
Counting nights instead of days
Some conditions count differently; inclusive days is only one convention.
Judging one visit alone
A perfectly short visit can still exhaust a cumulative allowance.
Treating the tally as permission
Only the issuing authority interprets its own conditions.
How to work the stay stamp ledger
Number the days of the whole period from 1, then give each visit an arrival and a departure day number on that line. Do not mix calendar dates from different periods without converting them first.
Enter the day allowance exactly as your visa, permit or entry conditions state it. The sample 90 days is illustrative; allowances and the periods they sit in vary, and counting conventions differ between them.
A visit from day 10 to day 25 counts sixteen days: departure minus arrival plus one. The spring and summer visits in the sample tally to thirty-one days together.
The tool flags the visit that pushes the running total past the allowance — the conference week takes the sample from eighty to ninety-one. Reorder or shorten visits before that point, and confirm the counting rule with the issuing authority.
What the stay stamp ledger replaces
| Question | Before | Visible working |
|---|---|---|
| Counting nights instead of days | Some conditions count differently; inclusive days is only one convention. | Read the allowance from your own conditions |
| Judging one visit alone | A perfectly short visit can still exhaust a cumulative allowance. | Count inclusive days per visit |
| Treating the tally as permission | Only the issuing authority interprets its own conditions. | Watch the running total, not one trip |

Input is processed locally and a draft is saved automatically in this browser profile when storage is available. Reset to sample clears that draft; Pro history has its own clear button. A state link encodes your inputs in its URL: share only non-sensitive rows. Browser history, clipboard and anyone receiving the link may retain it. Optional AI use below leaves this device; it is not required.
Day counting only, using an allowance you supply. Not immigration advice; confirm the counting rule, period and consequences with the issuing authority before you travel.
Data note: Everything runs in this browser tab on the stay stamp ledger: your visit | arrival day number | departure day number stays on this device, nothing is uploaded, and the reading is rebuilt only when you press run.
Go deeper: the companion app files the same reading as a clerk's docket sheet
The article demo above runs without limits. The companion app keeps a local history, exports the rows as CSV, prints the stay stamp ledger reading, and holds your drafts on this device — one free run, then $ 4 one-time for the layer that keeps filing.
The stay stamp ledger reading is complete for free. The optional $4 layer adds print, row CSV and the last five local reading summaries; it does not add hidden answers. Checkout is not configured yet; the article demo remains unlimited.

What this is built on
- Method: A visit from day 10 to day 25 counts sixteen days: departure minus arrival plus one. The spring and summer visits in the sample tally to thirty-one days together.
- All sample records are invented examples. The app does not fetch measurements, policies, files or personal records.
- Google’s official pricing page, fetched 2026-09-28, lists free-tier access including AI Studio. Optional formatting only; limits and availability can change. Free-tier content may be used to improve products. Never paste private records there.
Before: Some conditions count differently; inclusive days is only one convention. After: the stay stamp ledger shows the working beside each named row so the reader can change the assumption and inspect the consequence.
Optional AI formatting, not calculation
For this stay stamp ledger, use the free AI Studio interface only if available to you, with no paid API key. Manual entry completes the same workflow for free. Supply only fictional or non-sensitive notes. Review its output against the source; never paste unresolved questions into the numeric rows.
Format my non-sensitive notes for a stay stamp ledger. Return plain rows only: visit | arrival day number | departure day number. Preserve supplied quantities exactly. Do not guess missing values; list questions separately. Do not calculate or add advice. I will check every row before pasting into the local tool.
Accepted schema: visit | arrival day number | departure day number. No AI response is executed as code.
