Fit Whole Game Rounds Into a Shared Session — Free

Stopping mid-round can leave somebody with one fewer turn. Estimate whole equal-turn rounds for each game option using observed turn duration, with setup already removed.

The proof surface

Family activity planners schedule outings. This models turn parity at a stopping point in sequential games; its row results are alternatives, not a combined evening itinerary.

Why the flat version breaks

Adding alternative games together

Each row assumes the entire session is available to that option.

Rounding up a partial round

That can leave somebody without an equal turn.

Enforcing an average on a person

A time estimate is not permission to pressure players.

How to work the turn-order wheel

Choose genuinely sequential games

Each player must get one turn in each round for this model. Simultaneous play, skipped turns and bonus turns need a different timing method.

Time several ordinary turns

Use a representative average including decisions and resolving actions. Do not use the fastest player as everyone’s target or rush a child to meet the estimate.

Divide the session by round duration

Players multiplied by seconds per turn gives one round. Divide available seconds by that duration and round down; the sample tile game fits eleven complete rounds.

Agree the stopping rule together

Treat the estimate as a conversation starter. Reserve additional time for cleanup or a final score count outside the play allowance and revise when the game unfolds differently.

FIRST-LOAD

Input is processed locally and a draft is saved automatically in this browser profile when storage is available. Reset to sample clears that draft; Pro history has its own clear button. A state link encodes your inputs in its URL: share only non-sensitive rows. Browser history, clipboard and anyone receiving the link may retain it. Optional AI use below leaves this device; it is not required.

Planning estimate only; actual turns vary. Each row is an independent game option. The summary is the largest round count, not a combined session plan.

Data note: Everything runs in this browser tab on the turn-order wheel: your game option | players | average seconds per turn stays on this device, nothing is uploaded, and the reading is rebuilt only when you press run.

Go deeper: the companion app files the same reading as a meter band gauge

The article demo above runs without limits. The companion app keeps a local history, exports the rows as CSV, prints the turn-order wheel reading, and holds your drafts on this device — one free run, then $ 4 one-time for the layer that keeps filing.

The turn-order wheel reading is complete for free. The optional $4 layer adds print, row CSV and the last five local reading summaries; it does not add hidden answers. Checkout is not configured yet; the article demo remains unlimited.

What this is built on

Before: Each row assumes the entire session is available to that option. After: the turn-order wheel shows the working beside each named row so the reader can change the assumption and inspect the consequence.

Optional AI formatting, not calculation

For this turn-order wheel, use the free AI Studio interface only if available to you, with no paid API key. Manual entry completes the same workflow for free. Supply only fictional or non-sensitive notes. Review its output against the source; never paste unresolved questions into the numeric rows.

Format my non-sensitive notes for a turn-order wheel. Return plain rows only: game option | players | average seconds per turn. Preserve supplied quantities exactly. Do not guess missing values; list questions separately. Do not calculate or add advice. I will check every row before pasting into the local tool.

Accepted schema: game option | players | average seconds per turn. No AI response is executed as code.
