See Group Project Roles and Hours Beside Who Has Agreed
Clear group roles can show who accepted each part of the work; volunteered time still needs to be visible beside the task.
Compare project tasks, agreed roles, estimated hours, and hours volunteered by person; show uncovered work without scoring effort or ability.
What changes the result: each member's chosen task, available hours, and accepted commitments.
Privacy: Calculations run in this browser tab. This tool has no input-upload, account, or AI endpoint. The site may send a page-view signal to Cloudflare; this tool does not add form entries to that signal. A draft is stored only if you choose “Save draft on this device”; that browser storage is not encrypted. Avoid identifiers or sensitive details, and delete saved drafts when finished.
Your entries
The starting rows below are fictional examples. Edit them, replace them with non-sensitive labels and values, or load the sample again. The result is not advice or a source verification.
Amount fields use the same units you enter; the app does not choose a currency. Dates are the ones you provide. Up to 100 rows per run.

What the calculation does
For each block, calculate max(0, hours needed minus hours offered), then add the gaps. The tool cannot establish consent, skill, suitability, or whether a person can cover a task.
Question to keep open: Should the group split hours evenly or use clear, agreed roles and volunteered availability while giving people varied ways to participate?
Boundary: The IES source describes roles for K–3 reading-discussion groups, not every age or project; treat it as one role-clarity example. This worksheet is not a contribution grade. Agree on tasks and changes with the group and instructor.
Copy includes the headline, aggregate metrics, and boundary—not the row-by-row input. The CSV contains entries you choose to download. Review it before sharing.
